la LA land

I feel like ive fallen into this wonderland i now call my home and i couldnt be happier to be here. I feel like Alice in Wonderland the only difference being ... this isnt a dream. I wish i could say i miss NY deeply and cant wait to go back , but dare i say it , i wouldnt mind staying here forever. ANYWHO this is one of the many outfits i wore while being here but dont worry many more posts are to come!  

I decided to wear this outfit on the hottest day of the year but beauty is pain (aka fashion is hotness ... no pun intended ) This Kanye West shirt is such a staple piece for me because i mean Kanye's face is on shirt. So i went with some simple pajama jeans and steve madden combat boots with studs for an extra edge. Since so much is going on with the outfit , I tied my hair back in a simple slicked back high bun. This look came out to be semi edgy , semi grunge , and i mean who dosnt like a little half and half ?

Twist on Chev

My adventure to LA starts soon and i begin that adventure with school. On Monday i will go back to sleepless nights of homework and studying so i decided to do something fun with my nails. I like to think of it as the "last summer fling". I used a simple peachy color from Essie , as seen below

for the base of my four nails. On the ring finger i went with a bold white base and silver design. The design reminds me of a Chevron pattern , hence the name "Twist on Chev"lol This design is so easy to do, just make a big X and draw triangles in each space of the X. 1...2...3... done !
